Program overview
Day 1: Arrival
You arrive at our comfortable hotel, where you check into your room.
Important: the hotel does not have a restaurant.
Day 2: Day trip to the Wadden Island of Ameland
8:30 am: Extensive breakfast at the hotel
09.45 am: Departure from the ferry terminal in Holwerd
10:35 AM - 6:30 PM: Free time on Ameland to explore the island
6:30 PM: Ferry crossing to Holwerd
Day 3: Breakfast & Check-out08.30 am: Breakfast
Until 11.00 am: you can still use your room, after that the package is over
end.

Return crossing to Ameland (including own bicycles)
What is not included?
Bicycle rental, we are happy to arrange this for you. Small print
For the crossing to Ameland, we try to reserve the times listed above. In the event of extreme crowds and full boats, an alternative departure time can be scheduled. We ask for your understanding in this case; unfortunately, the departure time cannot be changed in such cases.

The arrangement can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days in advance.

WADDEN ISLAND AMELAND ELEVEN CITIES CITY DOKKUM
A fully catered mini-vacation!
Starting from Holwerd, you'll spend a day visiting Ameland, followed by a bike ride of approximately 60 kilometers the following day. The route runs from Holwerd via Moddergat to Dokkum, Birdaard, and Hegebeintum. After booking, you'll receive a detailed itinerary using the cycling junction system.

Day 2: Day trip to Ameland
8:30 am: Extensive breakfast at the hotel
09.45 am: Departure from the ferry terminal in Holwerd (the crossing takes approximately 50 minutes)
10:35 AM - 6:30 PM: Free time on Ameland to explore the island
6:30 pm: Ferry crossing to Holwerd (dinner at your own expense)
Day 3: breakfast & bike ride to Dokkum

Cycling tour from Holwerd to Moddergat, Dokkum, Birdaard and Hegebeintum (dinner on your own)

ALONG THE ELEVEN CITIES OF DOKKUM AND LEEUWARDEN
From Holwerd you can take two beautiful cycling tours through Northeast Friesland!
The first route is approximately 60 kilometers and takes you from Holwerd via Moddergat to Dokkum, Birdaard, and Hegebeintum. Day 3 features another stunning stage: from Holwerd via the iconic Bartlehiem to Leeuwarden, and then via Oude Bildtzijl along the seawall back to Holwerd. This route is approximately 70 kilometers.
After booking, you will receive detailed routes based on the cycling junction network.
