4-day Ameland & Dokkum package
In the mood for a few days completely away, with a perfect mix of nature, culture, and relaxation? Then book this mini-vacation to the Wadden Island of Ameland and the Eleven Cities town of Dokkum!
Your pitch is at the campsite in Holwerd, the base for two wonderful days away. On day two, you sail to beautiful Ameland, where you have all the freedom to discover the island at your own pace. Walking on the beach, cycling, enjoying a drink on a terrace, or exploring picturesque villages—you set the pace.
The following day, a beautiful bike ride of approximately 60 kilometers is on the program. Via the characteristic coastal town of Moddergat, you cycle to atmospheric Dokkum, and further along Birdaard and the mound village of Hegebeintum. You will receive a clear cycling route from us based on the junction system.

AMELAND ALONG THE ELEVEN CITIES DOKKUM AND LEEUWARDEN PACKAGE

Your pitch is at the campsite in Holwerd, the base for 3 wonderful days away. On day two, you sail to beautiful Ameland, where you have all the freedom to discover the island at your own pace. Walking on the beach, cycling, enjoying a drink on a terrace, or exploring picturesque villages—you set the rhythm.
On day three, you will be taken along a section of the Eleven Cities Route, pass through one of the historic cities, and enjoy breathtaking Frisian vistas.
The first stage takes you from Holwerd past characteristic places such as Moddergat, towards Dokkum, Birdaard, and the mound village of Hegebeintum.
On day 4, you follow the second stage of the Eleven Cities, which leads you via the iconic Bartlehiem to Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland, known for its rich history and vibrant atmosphere. Via Oude Bildtzijl and the sea dike, you cycle back to Holwerd.
Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or looking for a relaxing mini-vacation, this route offers the best of the North. Thanks to the detailed stages based on cycling nodes, discovering the area is easy and fun.
